Private Charity Vintner Dinner at Myers Park Country Club

Charlotte Wine + Food Chairman Emeritus, Phil Smith, and Board Member, Debbie Frail, hosted an invite-only charity vintner dinner featuring Penfolds’ California Collection with special guests, Charlotte Rawa, US Brand Ambassador with Penfolds, and Stephanie Dutton, Penfolds Senior Winemaker. The evening included a seated tasting with the Penfolds guests attending virtually followed by a four-course meal prepared by Chef Scott Craig of Myers Park Country Club. The featured wines of the evening included the 2018 Bin 600 Cabernet Shiraz, 2018 Bin 704 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 Bin 149 Wine of the World Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 Quantum Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2012 Thiénot x Penfolds Champagne and the Grandfather 20-year Rare Tawny. Each guest took home custom-made chocolates featuring the Grandfather 20-year Rare Tawny made by Kollar Chocolates.
All proceeds benefited GenOne, Mitchell’s Fund, The Learning Collaborative, and The Relatives.
