Private Charity Derby Day Vintner Dinner with L’Ostrica

Charlotte Wine + Food Executive Director, Lauren Deese and her husband Jeremy, and Brett and Courtney Gentzel hosted an invite-only charity derby day vintner dinner featuring DAOU Vineyards with special guest, Caitlyn Hadley, CSW, WSET, Division Manager, Mid-Atlantic at DAOU Vineyards. The evening included a reception and a four-course meal paired with cuisine by Cat Carter and Chef Eric Ferguson of L’Ostrica.

The featured wines of the evening included the 2020 DAOU Vineyards Rosé, 2019 DAOU Vineyards Chardonnay, 2019 DAOU Vineyards Reserve Chardonnay, 2018 DAOU Vineyards Bodyguard, 2019 DAOU Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 DAOU Vineyards Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2019 Pessimist.

All proceeds benefited GenOne, Mitchell’s Fund, The Learning Collaborative, and The Relatives.
