Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a restaurant vintner dinner at Fin & Fino featuring a match of producers of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah including Sonoma’s Donelan Wines with Willamette Valley’s Compris Vineyard for a special exploration of terrior. The special guests of the evening included Tripp Donelan, Director of Sales - Donelan Wines, Ryan Faddis, President - Compris Vineyards, and Chef de Cuisine Tommy Hite of Fin & Fino. The Charlotte Wine & Food Board Member host for the evening was Lon Huber.
Featured wines included the 2022 Compris Vineyard Divided Light White Pinot Noir, 2021 Compris Vineyard Perpetual Sound Chardonnay, 2021 Donelan Nancie Chardonnay, 2021 Compris Vineyard As One Pinot Noir, 2021 Donelan Two Brothers Pinot Noir, 2021 Compris Vineyard Drum and Fife Pinot Noir, 2021 Donelan Tripp’s Block Pinot Noir, 2021 Compris Vineyard Midnight Journey Syrah, 2021 Donelan Cuvée Christine Syrah and 2021 Donelan Cardiac Hill Syrah.
All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place, Augustine Literacy Project, GenOne, and The Learning Collaborative.
