Vintner Dinner at Customshop

Charlotte Wine + Food Week presented by Truist held a restaurant vintner dinner at Customshop featuring an exploration of one of Bordeaux’s highest-ranking vintages - 2016! The multi-course dinner was led by Baptiste Puyo - Bordeaux Grands Crus Classés Brand Ambassador - Monsieur Touton Selection, Ltd, a leading importer of French wines in the US.

Executive Chef Andres Kaifer of Customshop created an exceptional menu for patrons to enjoy. The Charlotte Wine & Food Board Member hosts for the evening were Ariail Barker and Melissa Collins.

Featured wines included Henri Dubois Champagne Brut, 2020 Clémentin de Pape Clément Blanc, 2016 Château Chauvin, 2016 Château Grand-Puy Ducasse, 2016 Château Prieuré-Lichine, 2016 Château Lagrange and 2016 Château Doisy-Védrines (Sauternes).

All proceeds benefited A Child’s Place, Augustine Literacy Project, GenOne, and The Learning Collaborative.
